Accountant (Work Life Balance | Good Benefits) - Up to $4,800 + AWS + Bonus

• Position: Accountant
• Location: Tuas (Transport provided from Pioneer MRT)
• Working Hours: 5 working days, 9:00am to 5:30pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,800 + AWS + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Finance / Accounting

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial reporting, including monthly financial statements and management reports
• Prepare budgets and forecasts
• Perform full set of accounts including audit schedules and reporting packages
• Handle accounting transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Review invoice postings and process payments
• Monitor daily cashflow and prepare weekly cash reports
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures
• Prepare corporate tax and quarterly GST returns; liaise with tax agents for filings
• Liaise with external auditors and attend to audit queries and requirements

Requirements:

• Requires Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledgeable in understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Requires ability to work independently under tight deadlines
