Assistant Student Care Mentor

Responsibilities: -

As an Assistant Student Care Mentor, you will be working closely with children (7-12 years old) and make a positive difference in their lives. Your key responsibilities include:

• executing day to day operations in the centre
• ensuring safety and well-being of the children at all times
• assisting lead mentor(s) to provide guidance and supervision of children in their school and other academic assignments
• coaching and testing children for their school spellings
• assisting in the preparation and co-conducting in-house enrichment curriculum with quality
• building a positive and respectful relationship with children
• managing and guiding children to develop positive habits and mannerisms
• executing holiday activities or special events for the children during school holidays
• other related duties as assigned by the Centre Supervisor or Manager

Requirements: -

• Passionate in reaching out and empowering primary school children
• Ability to manage a group of 10 to 15 children using positive management strategies
• Ability to coach or guide children in their academics assignments
• Enjoys working in a high-energy and dynamic environment
• Has good interpersonal skills and is a good team player
• Independent, observant, organised, responsible and takes initiative
• Open to learning new skills and be trained
• Minimum GCE 'O' level
• Some relevant woring experience preferred
• Working hours: 1.30 pm to 6 pm, Mondays to Fridays
