Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and hands-on Breakdown Response Tyre Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will respond to onsite tyre breakdowns, carry out repairs and replacements, and support our workshop’s daily operations. This is a key front-line position ensuring the safety and uptime of our customers’ vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to commercial vehicle tyre breakdowns at customer locations and roadside sites
- Handle onsite tyre replacement, puncture repairs, and recovery operations
- Liaise with workshop team and customers to report job status and requirements
- Support in-house workshop operations when not on field calls
- Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to workplace cleanliness and maintenance
Technical Duties Include:
- Replacing tyre valve stems and removing embedded objects (e.g., nails, screws)
- Patching punctured tyres using approved tools and rubber cement
- Removing and installing wheels using proper equipment (e.g., impact gun, tyre changer)
- Installing/removing rubber tubes, performing tyre rotations
- Conducting wheel alignment checks and minor adjustments
- Replacing vehicle batteries onsite and performing basic jump-start assistance
Requirements
- Prior experience in tyre repair, recovery, or workshop service preferred
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy-duty tyres and tools
- Comfortable with onsite response work and occasional emergency calls
- Familiarity with commercial vehicle tyres (light/heavy trucks, vans, etc.) is an advantage
- Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence preferred

Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
