CNC Lathe Machinist / Programmer

Knowledge to Mastercam & Solidwork , Program for CNC Milling & Lathe

· Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, CNC machine setup and process routing.

· Liaise with production team and engineers on the production information.

· Translate instructions into codes for machines to perform accurate functions.

· Prepare machine setup for test runs to ensure machine outputs are according to specifications.

· Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts.

· Create solid models using the CAD/ CAM software with precision according to the drawings.

· Coordinate with process engineers and machine stop technicians/ supervisors to create and validate machining programs.

· Supervise the task execution and inspect and measure finished products to ensure that measurements are complied with.

· Document the CNC program process and maintain the revision change according to change management process.

Requirements

· Professional certificate in Precision Engineering or relevant field.

· Minimum 1 years in programming experience.

· Excellent knowledge in handling, programming & setting up of CNC machines.

· Able to read engineering drawings and understand the GD&T.

· Proficiency of at least one CAD/ CAM software with 3D modelling.

· Able to communicate in English.

· Good interpersonal skills.

· Keen attention to details.

· Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
