Key Responsibilities
Corporate Engagement & Fundraising
- Identify and approach potential sponsors and donors
- Assist in developing proposals, presentations, and pitch decks
- Support donor acquisition and relationship-building strategies
Events & Campaigns
- Plan and coordinate fundraising events and digital campaigns
- Manage event logistics, liaise with vendors, and support volunteers
- Work with internal teams to deliver impactful campaigns
Donor Stewardship
- Maintain donor relationships through regular engagement
- Draft appreciation letters, reports, and follow-up communications
- Ensure timely and meaningful touchpoints with partners
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate donor records and track fundraising outcomes
- Analyse campaign data for reporting and improvement
- Provide administrative support including invoicing and donation processing
Other Duties
- Support any additional responsibilities assigned by the Manager or Deputy Executive Director
Who We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, marketing, or corporate engagement — preferably in a social service or non-profit setting.
- Diploma or higher in Business, Marketing, Events Management, or a related field.
- Strong command of English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- Passionate about making a difference in the social service sector and aligned with Metta’s mission.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive, creative, and resourceful — able to multi-task and manage deadlines with minimal supervision.
- A strong team player who is also results-oriented and meticulous in execution.
