Position Title: Compliance & Secretariat Executive
Location: Metta Welfare Association (Head Office, Simei)
About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Compliance & Secretariat Executive to strengthen Metta’s governance, ensure regulatory compliance, and support organisational integrity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance & Secretariat Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with relevant regulations, including the Code of Governance, Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement control measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for governance, compliance, and audit tracking.
- Conduct internal training sessions to promote awareness of compliance policies and cultivate a culture of accountability.
- Prepare and maintain accurate meeting minutes, including for Board and Management Committee meetings.
2. Organisational Support
- Coordinate and organise initiatives that promote the organisation’s core values and strengthen ethical practices.
- Support other assigned projects or duties as delegated by the Manager.
Job Requirements
- Qualifications: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Experience: At least 4–5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in compliance, audit, corporate governance, or administrative support roles.
- Other Requirements:
Experience in an audit or regulatory environment is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Office 365.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one local language for internal stakeholder coordination.
