Control Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibility is the Engineer function for Singapore Projects.

1. Responsible for troubleshooting equipment failures.
2. Develop PLC, SCADA, HMI programming logic tailored to specific machine functions and customer requirements.
3. Develop and integrate industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT) to ensure reliable data exchange between automation components.
4. Responsible for assisting with the design of the controls system and programming coding to meet the budget and time expectations as defined by the Project Manager.
5. Modify controls design and other documents according to the compliance with industry standards according to customer specifications.
6. Participate in controls and validation activities, conduct test and debug, internal buy-off, FAT and SAT.
7. Work together with the Customer, Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Process Manager, Design Engineers and other project team members as required.
8. Communication with Customer as per project requirements.
9. Collaborate with suppliers as needed.
10. Update PCT and task completion accordingly.
11. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
12. Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
13. Knowledge of Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron or GE Fanuc preferred.
14. Minimum 1- or 2-years working experience with controls systems and programming.
