Import & Export Executive

Job Description

• Define job responsibilities for import/export operations to meet manufacturing needs.
• Ensure timely import/export of goods to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle paperwork and system processes efficiently for importing and exporting goods.
• Coordinate with vendors, forwarders, airlines, movers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-schedule shipment of capital equipment and incoming materials/parts.
• Facilitate the export of finished goods to customers through effective coordination with internal stakeholders and forwarders, ensuring timely and secure deliveries.
• Ensure all shipments and document are adhere to SG customs requirement and internal SOP(s).
• Maintain clear communication with vendors/forwarders and internal stakeholders regarding issues impacting deliveries.

Requirements:

• Diploma in International trade, shipping management, or engineering with minimum 3 year of working experience in import and export functions in semiconductor industry or related engineering industries.
• Knowledge in Freight Forwarder environment, Custom handling, Airline booking and Logistics.
• Familiarity with Customer service and Semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge in SAP system, Power point, Excel, Word processing, STP-Plus certification and TradeNet, etc
• Process the ability to read, write and communicate in Mandarin with Chinese-speaking vendors and internal stakeholders
• Self-starter with good initiative and a team player personality.
• Dynamic individual capable to work under stress and perform multi- tasking.
