- Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,800 + AWS + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave + Transport Claimable + Medical

Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and service various marine navigation and communication systems including MARINE RADAR systems, chartplotters, ECDIS, AIS, VDR, VHF radios, MF/HF SSB, autopilots, maritime IT equipment, and VSAT systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and inspections on installed systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure the continuous operation of onboard systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to onboard crew members regarding the operation and maintenance of navigation and communication systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate installations, upgrades, and repairs as needed.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, regulations, and technological advancements in marine navigation and communication systems.
- Document all service activities, including installation procedures, troubleshooting steps, and solutions provided, accurately and comprehensively.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of marine navigation and communication systems
- Proficiency in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of MARINE RADAR systems, chartplotters, ECDIS, AIS, VDR, VHF radios, MF/HF SSB, autopilots, maritime IT equipment, and VSAT systems.
- Strong knowledge of IT/networking principles and protocols.
- General Operator's Certificate (GOC) is recommended.
- Familiarity with marine electrical and electronics systems is desirable.
