Mechanic (MNC Company) - Up to $2,500 + OT Pay + AWS + Bonus + Allowances

• Position: Mechanic
• Location: Tuas (Company Transport Provided: Various MRT pick up points)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am - 4.30pm)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): $2,500 + AWS + Flexi Benefits (Dental, TCM) + Meal Allowance + Performance Bonus + Transport Reimbursement Allowance + OT Payable
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Equipment & parts distributor (MNC)

Main Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues in machinery or heavy equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance, oil changes, filter replacements, brake adjustments, and system checks
• Conduct engine overhauls, transmission repairs, hydraulic system servicing, and other major mechanical work
• Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to troubleshoot faults
• Ensure all repair and maintenance work is recorded accurately in service reports
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workshop environment
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• Requires technical certificate or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in similar industry is preferred
• Requires Forklift or other licenses (Class 3) will be an added advantage
• Requires proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment
• Requires basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
