Role Summary
You will be responsible to lead and oversee equipment engineering operations across key semiconductor in one of the process modules, including: Wet, Diffusion, Etch, Thin Firm (CMP/CVD), PVD, Photolithography, or Metrology.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible to lead the respective module team to implement preventive and predictive maintenance program, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support tool installation and qualification activities.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex equipment issues, coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
- Establish and continuously improve preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Lead efforts in reducing unscheduled downtime and increasing tool reliability.
- Manage new equipment installation, hookup and startup in coordination with facilities, vendors and process teams.
- Provide technical training and upskilling opportunities to strengthen the team’s capabilities.
- Work closely with process engineers, manufacturing, yield and integration teams to support production and yield goals.
Education Qualification & Essential Experiences
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in semiconductor equipment engineering, with deep expertise in the relevant module(s).
- Experience working in a 12” (300mm) wafer fabrication facility would be advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading engineering teams, with a focus on equipment engineering in areas such as Wet, Diffusion, Etch, CMP, Thin Film (CVD/PVD), Lithography, or Metrology
