Preschool Educator (English or Chinese) @ Tampines

Roles & Responsibilities:

· To conduct lessons in a way that engage children and encourages purposeful play.

· To ensure children's safety and hygiene of the children.

. Prepare and implement programs and age-appropriate teaching materials.

· To establish a positive and trusting relationship with parents through regular communications.

· To be able to develop and maintain child portfolio through the various tools available in the centre and keep accurate records of the children’s progress.

. Daily care for the children, cultivate values that will prepare them to be life-long learners.

· To work effectively as a team player to establish and maintain a collaborative work environment.

. Communicate with parents about the children’s progress.

. Involved in twice yearly Parent-Teacher Communication.

Requirements

· Diploma in Early Childhood Education recognized by ECDA (L2)

· Minimum 2 years of experience in a childcare setting

. Someone who has good classroom management skills

· Have a caring, passionate disposition towards children and has a strong passion to nurture young children.

. Possess a spirit of teamwork, has good initiative and a positive attitude

. Able to work independently when needed

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· IT savvy
