Production Control Engineer

Role Summary:

You will be responsible for coordinating and managing customer behavior and production activities to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This includes planning production schedules, monitoring production progress, and addressing any disruptions to meet delivery deadlines. You will also meet with customers to handle their requirements and address any issues. The Production Coordinator (PC) role serves as a key liaison between customers and manufacturing.

Since VSMC is in the early phase of construction, you will act as a project manager, managing productivity-related systems and operational definitions. In this phase, the PC serves multiple departments to build up systems and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Major Job:

1. Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, lead times, and production details.
2. Coordinate with Manufacturing, Integration, and Sales to ensure order fulfillment.
3. Track production schedules and provide customers with order status updates.
4. Handle customer complaints, resolve issues, and escalate concerns as needed.

Other Details:

1. Provide production commit dates.
2. Track new production go-live progress, including mask tracking.
3. Prepare productivity or customer management analysis reports.

Education Qualification & Essential Experiences:

1. Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering Management, Production Control, Manufacturing Management, or other related planning fields.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Production Control, Fab Planning, or Manufacturing.
3. Opportunity to travel to Taiwan for training (subject to needs and expectations).
