Service Technician (Fixed-Term Contract)

Job Description

• Carrying out routine operations on system to ensure uninterrupted supply of chemicals and perform powder preparations
• Carrying out routine operations on system to ensure compliance with specifications at Waste Water Treatment Plant
• Monitoring process through system
• Unload/transfer chemical from trucks/containers and store chemicals
• Issue chemicals to support chemical delivery systems requirements
• Receive chemicals and perform physical checks from supplier and update system database
• Perform housekeeping activities for the work area
• Performing any other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Operations Manager.

Additional Information

• Must be certified fit by the designated workplace doctor.
• Must be able to differentiate colour for work purposes.
• Comfortable to perform 12 hour-rotating shift.
• Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work purposes
• This role require to work at our customer site

Experience and Qualifications

• O level / Nitec / any relevant Diploma equivalent
• Must be able to speak and write basic English for work purposes
• Computer literacy in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
• 1-2 years of working experience in chemical manufacturing industry is preferred
• Trained and certified in Chemical Safety and Emergency Response is preferred
