Shipping Coordinator
Working Hours : 8.30am - 5.30pm (Mon-Fri)
Salary : $3000 - $3500
Location : Pasir Ris
Job Scope:
- Assist in managing day-to-day shipping administrative tasks.
- Assist in prepare shipping documents and follow up shipment date
- Handle import and export shipments to/from Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, and Japan
- Coordinate with courier services such as DHL, FedEx, etc.
- Prepare and manage air waybills and shipping documents
- Request and compare packing quotations based on size, weight, and destination
- Liaise with forwarders (mainly KWE or others) for freight arrangements
- Generate sales invoices related to shipments
- Track and follow up on shipment status and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation
- Work closely with warehouse and sales teams to ensure smooth delivery process
- Handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Provide administrative support to other departments as required, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in shipping or logistics coordination
- Experience using courier platforms (e.g. DHL, FedEx) and generating air waybills
- Able to communicate with forwarders and request quotations for overseas shipping
- Basic knowledge of invoice generation and shipping cost calculation
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
