Job Description

At Tink It! Intervention Centre, we believe that every child is capable of learning when given the right tools, support, and connection. Our team empowers children aged 3 to 11 —including those with neurodiverse profiles such as Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and developmental delays—through early intervention and executive function coaching rooted in brain science, SEL, and trauma-informed practices.

We’re growing and are looking for passionate therapists who share our vision to make learning joyful, meaningful, and accessible for all children.

Your Role

As an Educational Therapist / Special Needs Therapist, you will:

  • Design and deliver individualized intervention plans for children with learning and developmental needs
  • Work on key developmental areas (e.g., communication, motor skills, cognitive, emotional regulation, adaptive living)
  • Use multisensory, play-based, and evidence-informed approaches (e.g., TEACCH, ABA, RTI, UDL, Zones of Regulation)
  • Track and report progress in a structured, family-friendly format
  • Collaborate closely with parents and caregivers for consistency at home
  • Provide support through center-based sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct informal assessments and develop personalized learning goals
  • Plan and deliver therapy sessions aligned with our internal curriculum and therapy protocols
  • Maintain accurate documentation and update progress reports regularly
  • Liaise with parents, caregivers, and educators to monitor and support holistic progress
  • Attend internal training and case reviews to enhance therapy quality
  • Ensure a safe, engaging, and respectful learning environment for children
  • Create learning worksheets and resources.

Requirements

✅ Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood, Educational Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or related fields
✅ Experience working with young children with special needs (especially Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties)
✅ Familiarity with intervention strategies (e.g., ABA, DIR Floortime, Orton-Gillingham, TEACCH, or similar)
✅ Excellent communication and documentation skills
✅ Patient, nurturing, and adaptable personality
✅ Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills

Bonus if You Have

🌟 MOE/NIE experience or teaching background
🌟 Certification in Zones of Regulation, Social Thinking, Executive Functioning, or Play Therapy
🌟 Experience working with children aged 2–8 in one-on-one or small group settings
🌟 Ability to speak a second language (e.g., Malay, Mandarin, Tamil)

Why Join Us?

  • 🧠 Work in a neuro-affirming, low-stress, and highly supportive team culture
  • 🌈 Flexible schedule and autonomy in session planning
  • ✨ Ongoing training, mentorship, and curriculum support
  • 💡 Opportunity to impact lives deeply and meaningfully
  • 💼 Competitive hourly rate and performance incentives
