Job Description

Role Overview: The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, installing and configuring systems, and supporting the day-to-day IT operations of the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues via team viewer/Teams/Zoom or in-person.
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates on computer systems and networks.
  • Install, configure, and set up new hardware and software.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and follow-up actions.
  • Assist in training users on new technologies and software.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Work closely with other IT team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Implement and follow security protocols to protect organizational data.
  • Keep track of IT assets, ensuring inventory is up to date.
  • Provide support for mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Log and manage incidents and service requests using the IT Hub.
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand their network requirements and provide efficient solutions.
  • Assist with managing Wi-Fi and LAN networks across multiple centers, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity and optimal performance.
  • Assist with Office 365 Administration
  • Assist with in-house applications maintenance


REQUIREMENTS:

  • ITE/Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS, knowledge of network protocols, and familiarity with remote desktop applications and Office 365.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities.
