Transforming Traditions: Give Your Sarees a New Life This Deepavali

Do you have beautiful sarees tucked away in your wardrobe, perhaps rarely worn or passed down through generations? This Deepavali, instead of letting them gather dust, consider giving them a vibrant new purpose!
Pasir Ris Elias Community Club is excited to launch a unique initiative aimed at celebrating Deepavali in a truly meaningful and sustainable way. We are actively collecting unused or old sarees from our community members. These cherished fabrics will be thoughtfully transformed into stunning, eco-friendly festive decorations, adding a touch of sustainable elegance to our celebrations.
Participating is simple! You can drop off your generous saree donations at the Pasir Ris Elias Community Club counter. Please ensure all donations are made by 31 August 2025. For any inquiries, feel free to approach our counter staff or call us directly at 6583 1220.
Join us in making this Deepavali not just a festival of lights, but also a celebration of community spirit, creativity, and sustainability. Let's illuminate our surroundings with repurposed beauty and celebrate together in a truly meaningful way!
