Showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair cut and even used Google Translate to explain what I wanted, as she's from China and doesn't have a basic understanding of English. Initially, she said she understood. She charged me $14 instead of $12. When I asked for it shorter, she started scolding me in Mandarin and handled my head roughly when she wanted me to tilt it. She showed attitude and cut my hair to NOT what I wanted. It's an uneven, layered cut. Super rude staff. And there was NO ONE waiting after me. I had to go to another shop to get it cut properly, and they were able to do it the way I initially requested. Even the other shop said the haircut was bad, like someone wasn't happy to cut it and just cut it any old way.

Went to Elias Mall and would highly recommend *not* going there for hair color. The lady attending was very, very rude and rough. She didn't color the grey hair well and seemed to be in a rush to attend to all the customers. She kept aiming the hair dryer directly on my scalp, and it got burnt. I stopped her so many times, but she didn't seem to care.

Went for a haircut and highlights. It was such a terrible experience.
The color didn't show up at all, and when I asked about it, she simply said it was because my hair color was too dark, and that's why the color couldn't be seen. A waste of my money and time.
I don't recommend this place at all. Located at Ang Mo Kio Ave 4, 632A.

Went to the Woodlands North Plaza branch. The lady (from China) seriously needs to stop scamming people and learn to be gracious and earn an honest living. The shop clearly advertised a $6 haircut promo outside. But once I sat down, she rudely said my haircut would be $10. I politely agreed to the price.
But what followed was the worst haircut experience ever. She only took about 2 minutes to cut my hair, and it was a deliberately bad haircut. She acted as if she was angry the entire time. This will be my first and last visit. And I'm very sure that for just $10, she's earned many curses from upset clients. That is a sad way to live a life.

"Went to the Elias Rd salon. There were already major red flags from the start. The stylist was staring at me while I was queuing up to enter. When I sat in the chair, she didn't give me time to say what type of cut I wanted and just cut it however she thought looked nice. During the haircut, there were a few moments where the comb and clippers kept hitting uncomfortable spots, such as my ears, and sometimes hitting my scalp pretty hard. It felt as though she cut my hair very fast and was in a hurry to be done with me. The result of the cut was actually pretty decent.
I would only recommend this place if you want a cheap, fast, and decent haircut. If not, there are plenty of other, more expensive and professional salons in the mall."

Went to the AMK 600 plus branch. I should have known better with a $10 haircut. What could I expect from it, right? The lady wasn't too friendly. I told her what I wanted, but she kept saying, "Hah? Hah? Hah?"
I kept my expectations low. The shop itself felt dirty. But I know I won't be going to such a cheap salon anymore. This was because I was waiting for my tablet to be fixed in front of the shop and I needed something to do while waiting.

The most horrible experience at Haig Road.
When I wanted to explain what I wanted for the haircut, this lady kept saying, "I KNOW, I KNOW..." quite rudely!
I kept quiet and let her cut my hair.
It turned out IT'S BLOODY WRONG...
And her excuse was, "I've been doing this for 40 years already..."
I got really angry and told her that she wasn't listening to her customer and that she was super rude.
I will never visit this shop again.
There is NO STANDARD whatsoever!
Please, save your money and go to a better salon, because the damage is real...

Nope. If you want to have a say in how your hair looks, don't come here. I asked for a short haircut, but the hairdresser styled and cut it according to her own ideas. I kept asking for a shorter cut, but she insisted that she wouldn't cut my hair any shorter. The staff was also rude.
If you want a quick and uneven haircut, you can come here. You'll be in and out within 5 minutes.

"I went to the West Plaza Pasir Ris branch because it's the most convenient location for me at that price point. The haircut was normal, as my hair is just straight. Still, it was OK, and the staff were fine. I haven't tried their styling services. Also, note that if the haircut session is longer, it might cost up to 14 SGD."

A Chinese lady was the only person there, tinkering with her mobile phone in the empty salon. When I asked if I could get a haircut, she replied sarcastically, with a thick accent, that she only opened the store and didn't do haircuts. I wouldn't trust my hair to this lady. Avoid at all costs!
