Warehouse Assistant cum Driver

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Assistant cum Driver is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, and packing goods, as well as performing delivery and collection duties. This role requires a responsible and reliable individual with good time management and physical stamina.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Duties:

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods.
• Pick, pack, and prepare items for delivery or dispatch.
• Perform regular inventory counts and update stock records.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist in loading and unloading of goods.

Driving Duties:

• Deliver goods to customers or branches in a timely and safe manner.
• Collect items or documents from suppliers or customers as needed.
• Ensure proper handling and transportation of goods to prevent damage.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report any issues.
• Ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately.

Requirements:

• Minimum Secondary School education or equivalent.
• Possess a valid [Class 3 ] driving license with clean driving record.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations and delivery driving.
• Good physical fitness and ability to handle heavy lifting.
• Basic understanding of inventory systems and delivery documentation.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently
