"If you have young kids, go to Dr. Sim at Pasir Ris Baby & Child Clinic. He is very experienced in pediatrics. I am very thankful for his skillful handling of my son's bout with Kawasaki disease. One look, and he immediately diagnosed the condition correctly and arranged for immediate hospitalization through his contacts with NUH. KD is difficult to diagnose and is often confused with a common viral fever. He has a brusque and no-nonsense bedside manner, but if you can handle his direct rebuttals of the kinds of questions anxious parents tend to ask, his skill is undeniable. My kids are now 23 and 20 years old, thanks to this man's skill and professionalism."
"Dined at the level one hawker, the zi char place. The service was really bad, especially over CNY. We waited 30 minutes between dishes and asked multiple times for updates, but none were given. The staff looked inexperienced. On top of that, when going to the toilet area, I found rats running around. I went for a smoke and, sure enough, there were rats caught and in cages. The NEA needs to check on this. The service is bad, and with rats running around, it's not good and really not recommended. I'm sorry."
My favorite place for a quick breakfast and lunch when I'm in the area. Nearby, there's a supermarket, a home hardware store, and a few other restaurants. It's usually crowded on weekend mornings and evenings. The prices of food and other items are affordable, and the place is generally clean. There's a drop-off area for disabled people, and the community center is located in the next building.
I came here to order takeout. At first, he asked if I wanted to eat here or get takeout, and I told him I wanted takeout. Then he talked to his friend and seemed to forget. I had to tell him again that I wanted takeout. He then got angry and yelled at me, asking why I hadn't said so. I pointed out that I had. Then he packed the order and threw the bag in front of me. I think he should learn better communication skills.
"A good shopping mall in the neighborhood. However, there tends to be an inconsiderate driver who drives closely and tailgates, often using high beams. Just be careful if you see this vehicle near the Elias area."
"An interesting circular annex building in an HDB heartland mall. It's filled with clinics, a 7-Eleven, a 4D shop, a bike shop, pet food supplies, a food court, and more. A local supermarket is the anchor tenant."
Newly opened 24-hour ABC eating house here. My favorite choice is their mutton soup. The soup is thicker compared to others. You won't be disappointed.
