I don't usually care to write reviews as I feel it's unnecessary and a complete waste of time, but this store really warrants it. I have ordered from this store time and time again, hoping to overlook their poor, unsatisfactory, and most notably rude customer service. But every single time I have had bad experiences with the way the cook and uncle treated me. Today was really the last straw. Today I told the uncle my takeaway order. The uncle keyed it into the system and just left to do other things. I waited for him to get back to me as he didn't ask me for payment or anything. When he got back to me, he asked me what I wanted again, so I told him I wanted the same thing. Then he started scolding me, *kpkb*-ing me for not paying when he left instantly. Huh??? You didn't even tell me to pay and left instantly. If I paid first and you didn't see my payment, how are you going to verify I paid? And also, what if I wanted to pay by cash? How are you going to accept the cash while not being there? 😂😂😂 I waited 15-20 minutes when it wasn't even peak period (8 PM), there were almost no customers, and upon serving my order, lo and behold, the uncle presented me with the food on a plate and not in a takeaway container. Huh? Please, you *kp* me saying I never paid, then got my order wrong. I told you twice that it was takeaway while you blamed me for not paying on my own. I thought to myself, it's fine, I'm just going to ignore it again. Then the uncle scolds me for not paying the takeaway fee ($0.30). Dude, if there's a takeaway fee, why didn't you key it into the system earlier? There is no way he misheard me about wanting takeaway as I emphasized it twice. PS, I have never ordered takeaway before, therefore the fee was unbeknownst to me. How is it my fault you did not key in the total amount with the takeaway fee earlier? And this is not the only bad experience. Previous times, the cook has shouted at me and *kp*-ed me for asking me to hurry with my order when I just arrived. AND THERE WAS NO CUSTOMER BEHIND ME, HUH?? I thought it was just a bad mood, but realized the store wanted to close early for the day. Fine. I have also had other separate encounters with the cook being in a bad mood when asked about wait times after waiting > 30 mins. Clearly your cooks and workers have no regard for customers. @KingofFriedRice How much are you guys paying your staff? Are they severely shortchanged/underpaid that they hate the job so badly? I understand the struggles and hardships F&B workers have to put up with daily when dealing with customers; I myself was an F&B worker. But this is not it, man. You don't randomly vent your anger, stress, or frustration on customers, no matter how bad it gets, especially when they did nothing wrong (unless they are being looked down upon/bullied). As a business owner, I hope you reconsider the customer service aspect of your store at Elias Mall. It takes two hands to clap. You can't expect customers to patronize your store even if your food is good, when your customer service is down the drain. And since inception, the quality of your fried rice and cutlet has only been getting worse. The fried rice is tasteless, the cutlet also tasteless. It is very evident from other reviews that I'm not the only one experiencing poor customer service while receiving equally poor quality food. With all that said, I strongly recommend others try @Flying Dragon Noodles at Pasir Ris Recreational Hawker. Their Pork Cutlet Rice is way cheaper ($6.50), the portion is bigger, the fried rice is tastier, and the pork cutlet is juicier.

We attempted to use the dryer but found it was faulty. When we called the provided number to report the issue, we were shocked and disappointed by how the matter was handled. Instead of calmly guiding us through possible solutions, the person on the line repeatedly mentioned that he had already credited the machine with $2 and that we should simply continue using it. While we understood the solution, the dismissive attitude and abruptness—including hanging up on me when I asked for a calmer and clearer explanation—were unacceptable. The issue wasn’t about the $2; it was about the manner in which the situation was handled. Hearing, “I’m on holiday right now, what do you want me to do?” from someone representing the business left a very poor impression. This experience has left me questioning whether this laundry service is dependable, as it suggests that customers may be left to resolve issues on their own or be subject to the owner’s mood at the time. Overall, it was an unprofessional and disappointing experience. Update: We checked before drying another batch, but no credit had been applied. It’s not about the $2—it’s about basic honesty and respect. Totally unprofessional; I won’t be returning.

Nearly scammed my mother out of $10 when their coin machine wasn't giving out $1 coins. The owner then had the audacity to ask for a $1 admin fee to PayNow my mother back. Luckily, my mother scolded them and got her $10 back without the admin fee. Seriously? Their own machine's problem and they still want to charge an admin fee???

One of my favorite laundry shops! Highly recommended because not only does it do wonders for my clothes, sofa cushion covers, and heavy weighted curtains, the customer service is impeccable too! Just a couple of months ago, I WhatsApped their mobile number at an ungodly hour of 11:30 pm because I only discovered that one of my blouses was missing after I had left their shop 6 hours ago! I was pleasantly surprised that the shop replied to my message, and by the following morning, they messaged me again to inform me that they had found my blouse - which I had left inside the machine after washing. I was so grateful that my blouse was found and literally sprinted to the laundry shop to retrieve it. I am extremely grateful that the shop took my request seriously and even went the extra mile to find my blouse for me! Kudos to the management for running the business so professionally and with such excellent customer service! I will continue to patronize this branch! Thank you so much for your help! Updated 10th February 2022: Felt so disappointed and annoyed by my latest and last trip to this laundrette, which we have been visiting for the past few years once every few months for washing duvets and heavy-duty items such as curtains and sofa covers. Of late, however, the detergent smells so bad that it left a trail of very strong and pungent perfume on our laundry, and we were left choking and sneezing whenever we came into contact with the towel, etc. We were shocked by such cheap-smelling fragrances used in detergents at the outlet that we had to immediately rewash at another laundrette because we couldn't accept the strong stench left on all our stuff, which subsequently caused our home to reek of the same foul stench as well. Nasal irritation from their detergent's pungent fragrance made family members at home so uncomfortable that it triggered sneezing and even runny noses. We also observe that their dryers don't seem to be functioning well for quite some time. For 2 bedsheets and 3 thick bath towels placed in the dryer for 20-30 mins, our towels were still damp to the touch. It is a sheer waste of money to visit this laundrette. This is probably the last time we are visiting this outlet for our laundry. Not recommended anymore.

"A convenient laundromat. Just bring cash and your laundry. They will convert your bills to coins, and the service automatically includes detergents and softeners. I love this place."

"Convenient and easy to use. Even a child could operate the machines. Since it uses automatic detergent dosing, maybe they should seal the detergent compartment to prevent customers from accidentally adding more detergent, or worse, unwanted liquids."

"Very convenient for washing and drying large items; there's even a program for curtains and sofa covers. I was impressed by how easy and fast it is to pay via PayNow if you don't want to bring coins."

This 24-hour laundromat has a good number of washers and dryers, so you don't have to queue or wait too long to wash your laundry. The Elias branch offers a quick and easy way for residents to drop off their laundry and grab a coffee or do their usual grocery shopping while waiting for their clothes. This branch is located near the parking area behind McDonald's.

The dryer is definitely a lifesaver during the rainy season. It costs $1 for 5 minutes, and you can adjust the heat and time accordingly. There's also a coin change machine on the premises, so you don't have to worry about not having enough coins.
